Untitled

This curious short from Anja Breien is certainly unique. A series of photographic still images, overlaid with a sub Jan Garbarek soundtrack, the action unfolds in storyboard fashion. There is stillness and violence simultaneously.
Untitled, you take from it what you will.
Black balloons fly over the heads of people and some are buried, while names are read. Is this an allegory for racism, or a specific act of violence? It is hard to say, but the images are striking and the idea is an interesting one.
Thought provoking? Certainly. Although the thoughts it provokes will differ from viewer to viewer.
